Welcome!
We are excited to meet you and share with you our living Journal. On this page we take the time for our audience to get to know us a bit. Thank you for joining us on this journey!
Hey! My name is Meaghan, maybe you deduced that by now but maybe not haha! I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve the world with my thoughts and words! My hope is that by being here it serves you well.<3 A little about me personally, I am a mother of five children, three girls and two boys! I have always lived in western Massachusetts and fun fact I just recently got my passport for the first time and I really look forward to traveling outside of the country. I love doing anything outdoors, foraging for plants is probably the most cherished thing for me. I love reading and writing, art, music and dancing! someone find me some Latin dance classes, I’m in! I have always wanted to be a writer in various capacities but after becoming a mom 15 years ago that part of me was put on hold. Although I love being a mom, it has been a wonderful journey in the last year and a half remembering and learning who I am apart from motherhood. I think sometimes we can get lost in our identities with the whirlwind of becoming and learning to be a parent. I look forward to open discussions with all of you in regards to the various topics that come out of this brain! Please feel free to send me a hello!
I’m Jill and a 44 year old Mom of 5 boys. My life has been a series of lifetimes and I’m finally living the one that I choose. I’m a New Englander to the core but I love the dry heat of the West. In the summer I want to be outside active and enjoying every second of the suns warmth, whether at the beach or playing soccer with my boys in the backyard. In the winter I’m happiest in sweats with a warm soft blanket and a hot cup of tea cuddled up on a comfy couch or chair. I do get out for my oldest sons basketball games and watching him play is always worth the venture into the cold. Spring and Fall is for soccer, soccer and more soccer. I’m a soccer Mom and I enjoy being on the sidelines with the other verbally aggressive mama bear soccer Moms. Ha ha! Yeah its true. I own it. I have a deep mind and a heart for people. I may be blunt and come off harsh in moments but its always flowing from a place of love. I’m for people and their health and happiness. I have learned to set boundaries and I have realized there are times when I do need to cut people out of my life, even if just for a season. But for the most part, as long as someone has the ability to be introspective and see themselves, I do believe people are worth my time and energy. I am so excited to get to know you all as you get to know me through this blog and our Podcast. Please interact with comments and messages. My life is busy but I always make an effort to respond to everyone.
